I haven't even been on the job for the 90 day probation period, and I already have something of note to discuss:
So far, this weekly installment has been a cutesy travelogue with me wearing cat ears. It will continue to be so, but I actually garnered press.

Here is the main post, but click on the link if you want to read the slew of insightful responses:
"Wife's coworker and some of her extended family bought us tickets, so we took the three-year old and went. All I can say is wow. While the show was interesting, within 90 seconds I wrote a note on my phone and showed it to my wife - surrounded by lesbians and Obama supporters. She laughed.
The two cat wranglers, well, one was a cat lady in her 40s, so I can see that. The other one, mid-20s, male (at least I think) and about what you'd expect. I have to think at what point in one's life do you decide to perform a cat circus, especially as a young, white male."
As strange as it was the kid(s) got a kick out of it, so that is all that really matters. Aside from the obvious comments to be made about the very restrictive and archaic views held by someone posting on AK47.net, I only have the following to say: I think it's mutually exclusive to observe that someone is "about what you'd expect" and then wonder why this person whose type you have so quickly and astutely identified would end up with the cat circus. And I suppose my defense would be pretty obvious to our Chux Chazerz who all knew I was destined for this line of work. Anyway, it's just interesting to me that my presence struck this guy (at least I think)--a presence described very much like a police report--enough to post publicly about it. And other than that, all I can tell my Chux Chazers is that whether I fit the type or not, I'm very pleased with myself and I'm damn good at it.
Here is an article for which I was interviewed briefly, but not featured:

This past week was spent in Albuquerque, NM, which I thought was a really lovely piece of ground. Here's some footage:
